Suvarsha & Peter’s Gunners Barracks Wedding

Tell me about your ‘The Beginning’

Suvarsha and I first met in Sydney back in 2015. We lived down the road from each other on campus. We were friends for a long while. Till one day, I decided to take our friendship a step further. She will always be my annoying, big-eyed, curly-haired best friend, but she has always been there for me and has a heart that loves me through thick and thin.

Our first date was slightly bad timing as I was limited for time. In June of 2017, She was due to fly back to India to visit family for 1-month. Of course, I could have waited. But, I couldn't. Our first date was actually at Sydney Airport where we sat together outside at the Tobey Estate coffee shop and shared a coffee and bowl of vietnamese fresh rolls. Off she went, and we have been inseparable ever since.

When and where did you get engaged?

When: 7th December 2021

Where: Boathouse at the tip of Macquarie's Chair

What style/theme have you chosen for your Gunners Barracks wedding?

Classy, elegant, but simple theme and wedding affair. At the end of the day, it is a celebration of our family and each other :)

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

I am looking forward to the moment she walks down the aisle. Nervous, but very excited. And of course to wear my wedding band.
