Georgia & Jack’s Wedding at Summer Hill

Tell me about your The Beginning!

“Jack and I met when we were at school. Although I tried to stay away from him because he was quite loud, he couldn't stay far enough away. Towards the end of school, we started attending the same church and it was our trips to church and some long facetime calls where we really got to know one another. ”

When and where did you get engaged?

“Jack proposed at a lovely lookout in Mulgoa right on Sunset in August 2023.”

How did you come to choose your venue?

“It was really important for us to get married in a church. We both trust that Jesus has saved us to be apart of his kingdom, and that marriage was created to reflect the relationship between Christ and his church. It is so special to us that we have this privilege of being able to get married. We chose to get married specifically at Summer Hill Anglican Church because its where Jack really came to know Jesus.”

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

“I'm most excited for when we just get married, we've sung our last song and Jack and I are leaving the church singing and dancing during the recessional, enjoying the, 'WE JUST GOT MARRIED' feeling.”

Top Tips?

“Try and find the fun in all the planning. It can be easy to feel like you've just got to do one thing after the next but engagement is such a short and unique chapter.”
