Liz & Jarrods Bouddi National Park Maternity Shoot
When it comes to portrait shoots Bouddi National Park has always been my bread and butter. When I was approached by my friend Liz to do her Maternity photos I instantly recommended Bouddi National Park for her maternity shoot. This was Liz’s first child so the shoot was incredibly special to her and her partner. Before the shoot, I scouted Bouddi National Park multiple times to see where the best light was and how I wanted to approach the day. Meanwhile, Liz, an extremely talented makeup artist threw together her styling for the shoot.
She looked absolutely stunning when she arrived at her Bouddi National Park Maternity shoot. We started shooting on the beach at Bouddi National Park before making our way up into the coastal headlands as the light got softer. I have to say Jared brought his modelling a-game and really nailed those intimate shots. I tried to keep things varied by starting with Jared and Liz and then shooting her by herself. To make the most of Bouddi National Park we also headed up to the cliffs for golden hour.
If you ever get the chance to visit Bouddi National Park I highly recommend you do so. There are some gorgeous spots for wedding and maternity photos up the top of the cliffs where it overlooks the water. As we shot on the higher parts of Bouddi National Park Jared was an absolute legend and even carried Liz across rocky paths so she’d get there safely. If that’s not couple goals I don’t know what is.
All in all the maternity shoot at Bouddi National Park was fun and amazing. I came home with at least 100 gallery worthy images, which made it incredibly difficult for Liz to choose. If you have a look at the gallery below you can get a glimpse into our favourite moments from Bouddi National Park.
